We offer condolences on the loss of your loved one. We realize that this is a difficult time, and we want to be a source of assistance and support.
The guidelines provided in this page are offered as a resource for planning the various stations, or parts, of the funeral for your loved one.
Know that your loved one will be remembered in the prayers of our Parishioners and at Masses during the week of your loved one’s funeral. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you, not only during these days, but in the period of grief that follows. We hope that we can be a source of comfort for you and your family. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Your first step to schedule a funeral at St. Matthew is to contact Fr. Matt by email or by calling 410-433-2300, ext. 102. He will arrange a time to meet with you to discuss details of the funeral, including the date and time, fees, and rules and regulations. We do welcome priests from other Parishes to celebrate funerals at St. Matthew. If you wish to have a funeral at St. Matthew and are bringing a priest from another Parish to celebrate the funeral, please have this information available for Fr. Matt and call our office so we can schedule the funeral. A meeting with the Pastor is still necessary even if someone else is the celebrant.
